Whether it be for Instagram, your website or an advert, as a clothing brand you need content. Lots and lots of content.
Feeding an ever-hungry content bank requires regular photoshoots and to keep things interesting for our followers, a variety of different locations. The process of finding such locations goes something like this:
Firstly, we conduct some online research and compare different locations, usually around London. There is some great information on social media sites such as Instagram, a great tool with which to scout. Whether it’s viewing tagged locations or searching specific street names or addresses into the search bar, we are able to compile a long list of potential photoshoot locations.
We also use TikTok to scout for cool photoshoot locations, by using hashtags relating to the areas we are looking to shoot in, as more and more people begin to share their new discoveries in the information age. Combined with Google Maps and our own knowledge of the city, we then have a shortlist to pick from.
The next step in the process is to explore these locations in more detail, predominantly to find out if they align with the Young Goat brand. Our aim is to find locations that have an urban feel to them, to align with the streetwear elements of our brand, but to include various lifestyle elements. Of course, there is always room for some fun and quirky locations, but for the most part, we want our photos to mirror the simplicity of our design - simple but striking.
On the day of the photoshoot it’s all about exploring the area, in the hope of finding hidden gems and secret hotspots around the neighbourhood so we can bring our vision of Young Goat to life.
We would love for you to share any cool photoshoot locations you think would be a suitable fit, let us know in the comments below!

I’m in the states and I think a good place for a shoot could be New Orleans, LA. there are many vibes to feel out.
Farnborough business park, Hampshire. minimalistic but bold & makes a a statement. The area surrounding the park make for some strong photos – if you have a good eye for photography.
Duke’s Wood, Wellesley Woodlands
Farnborough Gate bridge – fleet road aldershot gu11 2HL
Bournemouth Pier or Sandbanks beach
I think that you should gather a group and have them standing huddled together in front of a football stadium or go to the park playing football with some mates
