Last week we set out with the goal of raising £2000 while collectively running 2000km for Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW). Both were a big task but thanks again to all of your wonderful support and efforts, we're delighted to say that both targets were absolutely smashed.
Over £2500 was raised and will be donated to our three fantastic partner charities, who do exceptional work for the cause, and help support so many. We will also be adding 10% of our sales from last week to the final donation total.
When we initially planned 2000km, I don't think any of us realised quite how far it is! To give you some context, you could walk from London to Rome, with kilometres to spare, and you would need 20,833 Big Bens to make up this distance. Safe to say, for you all to come together and help us towards this target makes us really proud, so thank you.
Outdoor activity has a huge potential to enhance our wellbeing, increasing our mental alertness, energy and positive mood. We hope that some of you found your runs and walks calming and enjoyable and that you can take that mindset into the rest of the year, all the while encourage others to do the same.
Overall, it's been a great week so we wanted to give one final thank you for all your immense support. Mental Health Awareness Week is our annual reminder to take action but although now over, please make sure you all continue to highlight the importance of good mental health and check in on yourselves and each other.
